You'll know that things are more "readily available" when you get your Rolex.Nowadays when someone posts a new watch it's pretty standard to get asked how long they waited and if they had an "established relationship" etc. It's not everyone's favorite topic but it's a fair question, so maybe these big threads can provide a clearer picture of availability trends.
If a particular Rolex (not necessarily a special edition or limited edition) is your grail, then it would absolutely be worth the wait time and the hype. But only you can decide that for yourself.
